A special Holy Week episode of Faithcast, the new faith podcast from www.catholicnews.ie, the news source for the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference, has just been published.

In this week’s episode of Faithcast, Brenda Drumm speaks to Bishop Denis Nulty, Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin, about how we can best live Holy Week 2017. She also speaks to Father Vincent Sherlock who shares his thoughts on the meaning of Holy Week.

This week’s news snippets focus on Archbishop Eamon Martin’s remarks at the annual Mass for the Disappeared; the washing of the feet by Pope Francis this coming Thursday in Paliano prison; Father John Murray’s new book Saints for the Journey which offers saintly inspiration for everyday life; Archbishop Diarmuid Martin and Archbishop Michael Jackson to lead this year’s Good Friday Walk of Witness through the streets of Dublin; and, the opening of the Pope’s laundry for the poor and the homeless.
