Aifreann Phádraig Naofa

Thursday 17 March is the Feast of Saint Patrick, Principal Patron of Ireland. The Aifreann Phádraig Naofa will be celebrated in Saint Mary’s Pro Cathedral in Dublin in the presence of Uachtarán na hÉireann, Michael D. Higgins at 10.00am on Saint Patrick’s Day . Archbishop Diarmuid Martin, Archbishop of Dublin will preside. The Principal Celebrant and Homilist will be Father Bryan Shortall, O.F.M. Cap.,PP.

Music will be provided by the In Caelo Choir from Saint Conleth’s Parish in Newbridge, Co Kildare. Professor Gerard Gillen will be organist. Musicians will be Padraig Meredith on piano, Michelle Mulcahy on harp, Louise Mulcahy on flute, James Mahon on Uileann Pipes, Denice Doyle on violin, David Doyle on the cello. Sharon Lyons will be the soloist and director.
