The Irish Catholic Doctors Learning Network was set up in response to an identified need for a greater understanding of the Catholic Church’s position on matters relating to healthcare and the clinical practice of Catholic doctors in Ireland today. It relates to the Healthcare Council of the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference through their nominee. It is about Catholic doctors coming together to educate themselves on the science, medicine and professional issues behind the challenges facing all doctors and healthcare professionals working in the rapidly changing, constantly evolving healthcare environment today.
