Knock Museum to commemorate 1916

The centenary of the 1916 Rising will be marked at Knock Museum on Sunday 24 April with an evening of poems, readings & stories by local people.

The event will open with a reading of the Proclamation and also include a short analysis of the Rising by Robert Flatley.

Other contributors include: Bridie McGann, Peggy & Peter McLoughlin, Michael Cunnane, Terence & Geraldine Flanagan.

The event commences at 6.00pm in the museum and all are welcome to join what should be an open and interesting discussion.
