Year of Mercy Pilgrimage in Inishowen Deanery in the Diocese of Derry

A Year of Mercy Pilgrimage will take place on Sunday 8 May 2016 in the Inishowen Deanery in the Diocese of Derry. People will assemble at the Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh, at 2.00pm where there will be opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. .

There will be a procession to the Donagh Cross leaving at 2.40pm, led by altar servers, the choir, two representatives from each parish, general congregation, followed by clergy and Bishop Donal McKeown, Bishop of Derry. There will be hymns and rosary along the way. Pilgrims will carry a Year of Mercy candle during the procession. There will be a Tree of Mercy ceremony and Mass at the Donagh Cross at 3.00pm.

All are welcome to attend.
