The Mass of Chrism is a gathering of the faithful and the priests of the diocese around the bishop, whose mission - like that of Jesus himself - is to be a sign of communion.
The Chrism Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin in Saint Mary's Pro Cathedral, Archdiocese of Dublin.
