Faithcast is the new faith podcast from www.catholicnews.ie, the news source for the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference. Initially published fortnightly the podcast is now available weekly on Mondays. Presented by Brenda Drumm, Faithcast is a mixture of interviews and news snippets from the Catholic Church in Ireland.
In this week’s episode of Faithcast, Brenda speaks to Bishop Francis Duffy about sustaining faith in the Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnois. She also hears from Pamela McLoughlin from Veritas about one of their new publications The Cross of Addiction, which is edited by Deacon Barry Matthews.
This week’s news snippets focus on Pope Francis’ letter of invitation to the faithful to take part in preparations for World Meeting of Families 2018; Pope Francis’ schedule for Holy Week and Easter; a special family day at Knock Shrine; and, Pope Francis’ inspirational words on the grace to be witnesses of life and hope in a world that is thirsting for it.
