Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, and the isolation measures that have been put in place, Intercom magazine, a Catholic pastoral and liturgical resource of the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference, has made available the complete April 2020 issue as a free download.

The cover of this year’s Easter edition features the 2020 Holy Land Co-ordination Group alongside members of the Holy Family Parish in Gaza. Bishop Alan McGuckian SJ of Raphoe and Bishop Noel Treanor of Down & Connor share their experiences and hopes for the Holy Land in their article, ‘Visions for the Future: The Prospects for Equality, Justice and Peace in the Holy Land’.

The issue features articles that reflect on the meaning of Easter by Fr Enda Murphy and Dr Orla Walsh, and features pieces on the theme of spirituality and ecology by Liam O’Kelly OFM and Rev Dr Eamon Conway.

Also featured in our April issue are pieces on assisted suicide by Patricia Casey, challenging the legal recognition of surrogacy by David Mullins, the work of Every Life Counts by Vicky Wall, and anticipating the second anniversary of the repeal of the eighth amendment by Michael Dwyer.

All of these articles along with Intercom’s usual monthly resources, editorial, apologetics, catechesis, prayers and reflections, Lectio Divina, Irish Notes and more are available as a free two-part download on any device from the links below:
