Bishop Denis Nulty to address Conference for Young Adults

The 15th annual Catholic Young Adults Conference, hosted by the Legion of Mary, will take place on 20 and 21 August in All Hallows College, Drumcondra, Co. Dublin. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Mary inflames the Embers… Are you ready?’

The conference is open to all young Catholic adults aged 18-40 and will consist of talks, workshops, adoration and confessions, as well as time to meet and talk to other like-minded young people, a trad session and a small play.

Bishop Denis Nulty, Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin, will speak at the conference and celebrate Mass over the weekend. Other speakers at the conference will include Sister Consilio, founder of Cuan Mhuire, who will speak on Mary’s role in healing addiction; and Professor Ray Kinsella, who will give a talk on the role of faith in modern Irish society as illustrated by Saint Pope John Paul II.

Other young adults will also be present to give their testimonies on what the faith life means to them and on the Sunday a panel discussion will be held on ‘sharing faith with family and friends’ which will allow for lively and interesting dialogue.
