Bishop Denis Nulty to lead Kildare and Leighlin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine

On Sunday 5 June, people from the 56 parishes in the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin will go on pilgrimage to Knock Shrine. The pilgrimage will be led by Bishop Denis Nulty, Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin who is inviting people from across the diocese of join with him in the Jubilee Year of Mercy at the Shrine of Our Lady in Knock.

Ceremonies in the Basilica begin at 2.30pm with the Anointing of the Sick. At 3.00pm the Pilgrimage Mass will be celebrated and this will be followed by a Rosary Procession concluding with Benediction (outdoors weather permitting).

Music will be provided by the Diocesan Choir under the direction of Father Liam Lawton.

All are welcome to attend. Those interested are invited to check local parishes for information on buses travelling to Knock for the pilgrimage.
