Bishop Paul Dempsey to address the Grandparents’ Faith Cafe on synodality

by | 11 Jan, 2022 | News

Bishop Paul Dempsey of Achonry will address the Grandparents’ Faith Café on Tuesday 11 January on the theme of ‘Grandparents and Synodality’.

The Grandparents Faith Cafe is an initiative of the Catholic Grandparents Association and takes place once a month online via Zoom.

Speaking ahead of the January Faith Cafe, Catherine Wiley, Founder of the CGA said, “We are delighted to be opening the Faith Café for the first time in 2022. I am very much looking forward to welcoming Bishop Dempsey to our Grandparents’ Faith Café.

“We look forward to reflecting together on the theme of Synodality which simply means ‘walking together’. With the Universal Synod taking place at the moment we are all being offered an opportunity to reflect on how we are ‘being Church’. It’s timely for the CGA to take a moment of reflection on the theme of the Synod which is ‘For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation and Mission’.

“I have no doubt that Bishop Dempsey will have much food for thought to offer us and that we in turn will be inspired to always think synodally in our approach to our faith.”
