The Parish of Lisdoonvarna and Kilshanny is hosting the Napa High Choirs from California, USA, in the Church of Corpus Christi, Lisdoonvarna this evening, Wednesday 23 March 2016.
The choir, which is directed by Travis Rogers and Karen May, will perform as part of a special Sung Mass of Spy Wednesday. This will be followed by a unique concert where they will perform a selection of Irish folk songs and sacred pieces.
Commenting ahead of this evening Mass and concert, Parish Priest Father Conor Cunningham said, “The performance of this outstanding youth choir promises to be a beautiful, artistic and spiritual event in our parish for Holy Week. All are welcome!”
Entry is free of charge and optional donations will be gathered to support the work of Trócaire.
Sung Mass of Spy Wednesday will begin at 7.30pm and the concert will follow at 8.15pm.
