Cardinal Mario Grech meets clergy and staff of Irish Bishops

On 18 April, Cardinal Mario Grech, Secretary General of General Secretary of the Synod and Bishop emeritus of Gozo, Malta, visited the staff and clergy of Columba Centre – the curia of the Irish Bishops’ Conference which is located in Maynooth. Following his meeting, Cardinal Grech travelled to Knock to attend and address a two-day conference entitled Synodality Explored: Facing the Future Together. The Knock conference was organised in association with the University of Notre Dame, Australia.

During his time in Ireland Cardinal Grech was interviewed by Father Bill Kemmy of Kildare & Leighlin, and this interview is available on the iCatholic platform wherein he discussed the Synod and the need fora missionary movement in the Church.
