Archbishop Diarmuid Martin, Archbishop of Dublin, gave an interview today to the News at One on RTÉ from Poland, where he is attending World Youth Day in Krakow with Pope Francis and 300 young people from the Archdiocese of Dublin who are there on pilgrimage all week.
Archbishop Martin spoke on the tragedy in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvery, France. He spoke of the need to combat evil with a similar force of goodness in society. He also said that education is the basis for real tolerance as well as knowledge and respect for other religions. He said we keep Father Jacques Hamel in our Prayers.
