There is just under one month to go until this year’s Youth 2000 Summer Festival. The 2016 festival will take place from Thursday 7 July to Sunday 10 July, two weeks ahead of World Youth Day in Poland which takes place from 25 to 31 July. The theme for this year’s festival is ‘Receive my mercy…inherit my Kingdom’ (Acts 26:18).
The festival will be held at the Cistercian College in Mount Saint Joseph Abbey, Roscrea, County Tipperary, and consists of inspiring talks, workshops, testimonies, prayer, music, drama and much more.
Youth 2000 is a Catholic youth organisation that organises lively faith festivals, retreats, prayer groups and other events for young people aged 16-35 across the island of Ireland. The summer festival is one of the largest events held annually in Ireland for young people aged 16-35 years.
Registration for the event is now open and can be completed on www.youth2000.ie. Free bus routes are provided to and from the festival, details of which can also be found on the Youth 2000 website.
