‘No Room At The Inn’ – unique celebration in Carlow Cathedral

‘No Room at the Inn’ is a candlelit journey that heralds the arrival of Christmas and an evening of music not to be missed according to the organisers. It will tale place in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, in the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin on Sunday 18 December at 8.30pm. It celebrates the true spirit of Christmas, a spirit of hope, peace, joy and love.

It is a unique Cathedral parish community collaborative celebration featuring Carlow College Youth Orchestrea under the baton of Majella Swan, Cathedral Choir, Cathedral Youth Choir, the talented Carlow Soprano Kathleen McDermott; Aspiro Choir, Scoil Mhuire School Choir, Bishop Foley School Choir, Anam Cairde with soloist Karen Kelly and Cathedral Soprano Julianne Woods.

The choirs will sing a feast of beautiful Christmas carols, old and new, for all the family to sing and enjoy with seasonal scripture readings and reflections.

Donations on the night will be taken for the Trocaire Aleppo Crises Appeal and for  Saint Vincent de Paul.
