Poor Clares to host vocations afternoon in Cork

The Poor Clare Sisters in Cork are hosting a vocations afternoon for women discerning a religious vocation on Saturday 7 May at the Poor Clare Monastery, College Road, Cork.

The vocations afternoon will offer the opportunity to find out more about the life and work of the Poor Clares. There will be time for questions and an opportunity to hear some of the vocation stories of the sisters.

The Poor Clare Sisters of College Road, Cork, are part of the Franciscan family, followers of Saint Francis of Assisi. Saint Francis inspired and guided Saint Clare who founded the Order of Sisters in Italy in 1212. The monastery in Cork was founded in 1914.
