Pope Francis to take usual July slowdown of activities

5 Jul, 2022 | News, Pope

The Vatican Press Office has confirmed that Pope Francis will take his usual July break from most of his activities.

As is customary, the Holy Father will suspend General Audiences this month to allow for a period of rest.

The Holy Father will also suspend most activities and audiences but will continue to give his Sunday Angelus addresses to the faithful in Saint Peter’s Square.

The exception to the Holy Father’s rest during July will be his Apostolic Trip later in the month to Canada, where he has a very full itinerary from 24 – 30 July.
