Trócaire has released a new documentary highlighting the humanitarian crisis taking place in the West Bank and Gaza entitled This Is Palestine. The documentary, co-produced by Tyrone Productions and Trócaire, follows Riverdance founder and award-winning producer and director John McColgan as he explores the impact of ongoing conflict and military occupation on those who live in the region.
This is Palestine features powerful interviews with people who have lost their homes, land or family members as a result of the ongoing conflict, as well as inspiring footage of the Israeli and Palestinian activists working together for a just peace.
The documentary was produced to mark the 50th anniversary of the occupation of the West Bank and the 10th anniversary of the blockade of Gaza and highlights the urgent need for a renewed effort to bring a lasting peace to all the people of this region.
