The Youth 2000 Summer Festival will take place from Thursday 7 to Sunday 10 July, ahead of World Youth Day in Poland which takes place from 25 to 31 July.  The theme for this year’s festival is ‘Receive my mercy…inherit my Kingdom’ (Acts 26:18).

The festival will be held at the Cistercian College in Mount Saint Joseph Abbey, Roscrea, County Tipperary. This four-day celebration of faith is for young people aged 16-35. The programme for the festival consists of inspiring talks, workshops, testimonies, prayer, music, drama and much more.

Youth 2000 is a Catholic youth organisation that organises lively faith festivals, retreats, prayer groups and other events for young people aged 16-35 across the island of Ireland. The summer festival is one of the largest events held annually in Ireland for young people aged 16-35 years. Over 1,000 young people gathered to participate in last year’s summer festival.

Free bus routes are available from across Ireland. For more information on the festival, please visit www.youth2000.ie.
